Iran is located in southwestern Asia. It covers an area of 1,648,000 square kilometers (636,296 square miles), slightly larger than the state of Alaska. Iranian culture is one of the oldest in the whole world which has been influenced by many cultures like Italy, Macedonia, Greece, Turks, Russia, the Arabian Peninsula, India, and parts of Asia. That is why for those that are looking to magnify their cookery experiences, you will find Persian cuisine has much in common with Greek and other Mediterranean cultures. Maneli means Mandegar in Farsi, which means “stay with me”. Growing up in the South of Iran & regularly visiting the North, followed by immigrating to Europe & America taught me many intercultural life aspects, including food. I learned that no matter what nationality people from, all variant cultures crave for Tasty & Healthy food. My experiences from working in different types of Cuisines along with my Occupational Health & Safety degree, and joyful experience cooking time with my daughter, Maneli, inspired me to open Maneli’s Kitchen. From the 1st day, our goal is to offer you a great tasting Persian Mediterranean meal, warming atmosphere, welcoming service, and affordable price.
